The leading international conference focusing on Atmospheric Light Scattering and Remote Sensing!
We are pleased to announce that the 6th International Symposium on Atmospheric Light Scattering and Remote Sensing will be held in Zhejiang University (ZJU), Hangzhou, China, 2019.

The International Symposium on Atmospheric Light Scattering and Remote Sensing has been held successfully for five times (Xi'an, China, 2009; Lanzhou, China, 2011; Nagoya, Japan, 2013; Wuhan, China, 2015 and Hefei, China, 2017). The symposium is becoming increasingly an vital academic platform for international atmospheric remote sensing and lidar, and has achieved positive academic and social impacts. The symposium has attracted lots of universities and research institutions, including NASA, European Space Agency (ESA), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Washington University, Utah University, State University of New York, Hampton University, N-ational Institute of Environmental Studies, Nagoya University, Nagasaki University, and organizations from Germany, Britain, France, Finland and other countries and regions.


The symposium focuses on the atmospheric light scattering and radiation theory, active and passive remote sensing technology, ground-based lidar detection methods and other hot issues in the field of remote sensing. Display and discussion about the advanced theory, new methods, and cutting-edge technology will be the core content of the symposium.

ISALSaRS' 19 is organized by Zhejiang University (ZJU). Zhejiang University is a comprehensive research university with distinctive features and a national as well as international impact.
